Abstract:
Play Basin is of considerable exploration potential, and the main hydrocarbon source rocks are Paleogene black shale, Cretaceous limestone and the coal-bearing of lower-middle Jurassic, the chief reservoir beds are the marine and delta sandstones and carbonate rocks., the regional cap rocks are shale and gypsolyte from the upper Jurassic to the Pliocene. The traps are classified into three types:the tectonic, the tecto stratigraphic and the stratal traps. At present, the central anticline belt is the major short-term exploration area.
