Abstract: In this article, a review has been made on the key technical problems encountered during the design and construction of CNOOC's HAI YANG SHI YOU 118 FPSO, such as project management, structures, pipelines, electrical and mechanical etc, and the corresponding solutions to the problems have been put forward. In addition, the main problems and lessons are summarized, which can provide reference for design and construction of FPSO in future China.
