Abstract: Most of shallow oil reservoirs in Bohai Sea are loose heavy oil reservoirs. At present, the develop-ment mode of these reservoirs is exploitation with sand-prevention, which can't exploit production utter-mostly while increases operation cost. The paper evaluates sand prevention with metal kapok screen pipe, simulates field completion system, establishes test process and scheme of the influence degree of sand pro-duction rate under this completion system, and establishes relation chart of sand production rate and reser-voir physical properties changes. The result has some guide meaning for scientific production and adminis-tration in Bohai heavy oil reservoir.
