Abstract:
Pinghu Formation in Pinghu area of Xihu Sag has high oil and gas abundance, and it is a delta sedimentary system. The reservoir changes rapidly and the coal seam develops into a variety of lithology combination types. The seismic response characteristics of the reservoir and coal seam are not clear in the conventional seismic profile, which increases the difficulty in identifying and predicting the gas-bearing reservoir. At present, the understanding of reservoir distribution law in this area is not clear. Guided by the geological characteristics of the reservoir in the working area, this paper analyzes the geophysical response characteristics of sand, mud and coal, combined with the forward simulation analysis of the coal seam and sand body, optimized the identification of sensitive elastic parameters of the sand body. The seismic waveform indication was applied inversion to remove the interference of the coal seam, predicted the distribution characteristics of the sand body, and successfully predicted the favorable development area of the sand body of Pinghu Formation in the study area. It provides a basis for further exploration and development deployment of Pinghu area.
