Abstract:
In view of the characteristics of difficult identification and logging interpretation of low resistivity oil layers in Kongdian Formation in Fenghuadian area, the formation causes of low resistivity oil layers are studied and analyzed by making full use of well logging and other data. The study shows that the low resistivity oil layers in this area are affected by clay mineral content, formation water salinity and thin interbeds. On the basis of the systematic analysis of the relationship of four characteristics of the reservoir, the reservoir parameter model and the high-precision and highly applicable oil and water interpretation chart standard have been established in different blocks and layers to accurately identify low resistivity oil layers, which have been applied to the field production timely and achieved obvious results, providing reference and technical support for further developing the identification of low resistivity oil layers in old oil fields and tapping the potential to increase production.
