Abstract: The out-of-control blowout of offshore jacket production platform will cause huge casualties, property losses and environmental pollution. This paper describes the status quo of the treatment of out-of-control shallow-water blowout at home and abroad, analyzes the difficulties in the treatment of out-of-control blowout on jacket production platform, and puts forward a targeted out-of-control blowout treatment plan, which covers six technical measures, including fire sprinkler, well site survey, obstacle removal, reconstruction of wellhead, relief well, and well killing, providing technical guidance for future jacket platform well control and rescue operations.
