海洋内波能量耗散的数值研究

Numerical Study on Energy Dissipation of Ocean Internal Wave

  • 摘要: 为了研究单频内波在白噪声的干扰下传播时的能量耗散率问题,采用高精度谱方法对其进行数值计算,分析了内波传播过程中内波振幅大小和海水的普朗特数(Pr)对能量耗散率及内波破碎期持续时间的影响。结果显示,内波振幅越大,三个时期(破碎前期、破碎期和破碎后期)的平均能量耗散率越大,内波越早破碎,破碎时间越短;内波在海水中传播,Pr越大,破碎前期平均能量耗散率越小,而破碎期平均能量耗散率越大,破碎时间越短。研究成果可为内波能量耗散率和破碎时间的量化提供理论指导。

     

    Abstract: In order to study the energy dissipation rate of the single frequency internal wave when it is propagated under the interference of white noise,the numerical calculation is carried out by using the high-precision general method.The influence of amplitude and Prandtl number (Pr) on dissipation rate during internal waves propagating and the lasting time of internal waves breaking is analyzed. The results show that the larger the amplitude of internal wave is, the greater the average energy dissipation rate in the three stages (before breaking, breaking, after breaking) is. The earlier the internal waves breaks, the shorter the breaking time is.The internal wave propagates in seawater, the greater Pr is, the smaller the average energy dissipation rate is in the early stage of breaking.The greater the average energy dissipation rate is in the breaking stage, the shorter the breaking time is. The research results can provide theoretical guidance for the quantification of internal wave energy dissipation rate and breaking time.
