边界探测技术在水平井随钻地质导向中的应用

摘要: 越来越多的老油田采用水平井进行开发,油藏地质的复杂性和挑战性推动了随钻测井技术的进步,从最初的探测深度较浅的无方向性测量发展到如今的具有大探测半径的方向性探边测量。方位电磁波传播电阻率较大的探测半径及边界响应特征有助于及早确定储层边界或油水、气水边界位置,国际三大油田服务公司都有针对性地推出了具有自己特色的方位电阻率探边测井工具。以测量原理简单,资料得到广泛应用的贝克休斯公司的AziTrakTM工具为例对探边工具的测井资料进行应用研究。在南海油田,通过对AziTrakTM工具录取到的方位电阻率探边资料的实时分析,结合其它资料,指导水平井施工,较好的实现了油藏地质目的,取得了良好的经济效益。Abstract: More and more mature oil/gas fields were developed by horizontal wells, the complications and challenges of geological features of reservoir which pushed the LWD technical progress from the initial shallow non-directional DOI measurements though deep directional DOI measurements today. The deeper DOI and significant boundary responses of Azimuthal propagation resistivity (APR) were very useful for early detection of boundaries whatever the formation or OWC/OGC, the most valuable output of tools is the distance to boundary (D2B). Currently three different kind of boundary detection tools were developed by world major oilfield service companies, AziTrakTM LWD tool was one of those outstanding tools which was developed by Baker Hughes and extensively used in fields for geo-steering decision making. Boundary detection technology combining of the other LWD data and related struc-ture/reservoir data which achieved significant positive horizontal drilling results in South China Sea, some cases have been discussed in this paper.
