Abstract: East area of JZ Oilfiled is the satellite block of JZ oilfiled and it is a typical complex block faulted oilfield with complex struc-ture, high reserves prediction risk and high investment. Based on thorough research on the source rocks,hydrocarbon migration paths and reservoir-seal assemblage,the mode of reservoir forming was revealed, and rolling development of oilfield was carried on. In the process of development,integrative research of geology and reservoir was made based on well logging and reserves numerical simulation, and gained good effects. Successful development of this block provided reference for development in similar offshore oilfields.
