The demarcation and feature study of petroleum migration and accumulation dynamic system of Damintun Depression

  • Petroleum migration and accumulation dynamics offer new method for the study of petroleum distribution rule. It has come to the high exploration stage in Damintun Depression, so it calls for new study thoughts and methods. According to the demarcation principle of petroleum migration and accumulation dynamics system, integrating the tectonic and sedimentation evolution, hydrocarbon source feature, reservoir type, the vertical and horizontal distribution of overpressure and the oil rock correlation analysis, there come to five petroleum migration and accumulation dynamic systems:other source high-waxy oil buried hill at the bottom, auto source high-waxy oil in the lower part, other source high-waxy oil in the middle part, mixture source normal oil in the middle part and other source normal on the top. By the method of reservoir scale sequence and trap addition, the reservoir scale to be discovered of each system is predicted. It is concluded that the petroleum migration and accumulation dynamic system of other source high-waxy oil buried hill at the bottom is of the best exploration potential.
