Abstract
This article, taking the Pinghu oil and gas field in the East China Sea for example, discussed the principle, method and approach of reservoir modeling. Because in the East China Sea there are fen well and the sedimentary facies for the nonmarine reservoir changed quickly, the method of synthetically adopting the data of geology, well logging, seism and exploitation was used to establish concept model of sedimentary fades. The methods of stochastic modeling and facies-controlled modeling were resorted to create reservoir parameter model with well information as hard data and seismic data (seismic attribute and wave impedance). Finally, the established models were inspected and evaluated. The study indicated that with the application of seismic data, the lack of well data in reservoir modeling for offshore oil and gas fields can be remedied to improve the prediction precision of well-to-well. The well number for offshore oil and gas field was small and the seismic interpretation can be various. Thereby, the uncertainty evaluation should be made for modeling results to lower risk and increase the accuracy of exploitation policy.
