Research and application of removing clog in deep reservoir for SZ36-1 oilfield

At present, SZ36-1 in Bohai bay is the biggest offshore heavy oil field in China, characterized in high porosity and permeability, multiple thick layers and heterogeneity. Due unconsolidated sandstone formation, traditional acidizing treatment will have minor effect. Based laboratory results and the damage mechanisms of SZ36-1, this paper presents a new fluorboric acid and fluid diverting technology and its field application.
