Study on seismic data prestack noise attenuation techniques in deep water

  • Taking 3D seismic data from the deep sea in Qiongdongnan basin as an example, characteristics of the seismic data, and types and characteristics of interference waves in deep water were analyzed comprehensively. Aiming at different types of interference waves, we attenuated the interference waves using different approaches such as carried out the research of the seismic data pre-stack noise attenuation technology in deep water. By studying these approach of multiple suppression, eliminating the interference by aquatic bird and surge, and eliminating the abnormal amplitude in deep water; we summed up the seismic data pre-stack noise attenuation technology in deep water. It is the technical foundation for future seismic data processing in deep water.
