The Optimized Drilling Technology of TWT 3 Well

The paper introduced the drilled formations, well structure and operation difficulty, and described the PDC bit drilling technology, PDC bit drillable casing shoes and collars, drilling fluid and cementing technology. By the application of the optimized drilling technology, the ROP and monthly penetration footage improved about 45% and 79.9% in contrast with TWT 2 drilled in the same geological structure in 2000.
