The Technique of Production of Using CO₂ Huff-puff in Heavy Crude Well

Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the mechanism of CO₂ huff-puff,the paper deemed it could reduce the resistance force of seepage flow in formation,increase driving pressure and therefore improve the production rate using CO₂ huff-puff,especially when used in heavy crude fields by bottom water. CO₂ huff-puff technique has been successfully used in QK18 well and gained economic benefits obviously.
