Abstract
As an important production facility in offshore oil areas, jack-up platforms have scour phenomena on the seabed around their pile legs, which pose potential danger to the safe production of platforms. Due to the influence of different stratigraphic layers, it leads to risks of slippage and puncture during the in-situ operation of the platform. The bearing capacity analysis of the pile boot penetration is the key to guide the pile insertion in jack-up platforms. At present, research on the scour depth of the pile foundation is relatively mature, but the effect of seabed scour on platform penetration is less studied. According to the actual geological conditions of the marine environment and the platform operation data, for the jack-up platform inserting piles in position, we established a data analysis model of pile leg bearing capacity under scour conditions, studied the change process of bearing capacity during the penetration of pile boots, and analysed the key parameters affecting the bearing capacity of the pile boots, and found that the pile boots would be greatly displaced and create a hidden safety hazard when the scour depth reached 2 m and above. The study research can provide technical guidance for the stability of pile insertion of jack-up platforms under different geological and environmental conditions. This will provide technical support for the stability of pile insertion under different geological conditions.
