Application Prospect Analysis of Intelligent Well Completion in Offshore Oil and Gas Fields

  • Intelligent well completion technology provides a new solution to solve the problems of oil and gas field development and improve the production and management efficiency of offshore oil and gas wells. However, the lack of comprehensive understanding of the function of the intelligent completion system and the unclear application scenarios lead to the low popularity of the current offshore intelligent completion application. In order to effectively enhance the engineering application popularity of intelligent completion technology, by combing all the unit modules covered by the intelligent completion system, the functional composition of the intelligent completion system was comprehensively analyzed, and a typical intelligent completion engineering scheme of oil and gas wells with complete functions was constructed. Then, combined with the possible technical difficulties in current offshore oil and gas field development, six typical application prospects of offshore intelligent completion technology were designed. It is of great significance to study the application and popularization of offshore intelligent completion technology to promote the construction process of offshore intelligent oil and gas fields.
