Research on Vz Noise Recognition and Suppression Technology Based on Four Components of Submarine Nodes

  • The suppression of "shear wave leakage noise" or "Vz noise" is one of the key steps in the de-noising process of submarine node seismic data processing. The usual method is to suppress Vz noise completely in Z component based on P component pattern. However, in practice, it is difficult to suppress the Vz noise completely through the noise model of P component architecture. Therefore, this paper makes full use of the advantages of four components of OBN (Ocean Bottom Node) data, and proposes a processing method that combines R, T and P components for pattern recognition and model construction of Z component noise, and then suppress Vz noise. This method can better extract shear wave noise in Z component, which has better denoising effects compared to the original method.
