Application of Co-simulation in Knuckle Crane Design

  • Aiming at the problems of complex control system and high trial-manufacture cost of automatic machine and equipment developed in oil drilling industry, this paper discusses the application of joint simulation link in the process of equipment development. The folding arm crane of offshore drilling platform is taken as an example and simulation X is used to carry out co-simulation of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic. The simulation results are compared with the design parameters. It was proved that adding a co-simulation link in the design process of offshore platform automation equipment can effectively verify the design parameters of the equipment, and compared with the traditional PLC program simulation and debugging, it can debug the electronic control program of the system closer to the real field environment.
