Processing Techniques and Effect of Chemical Dosing by Casing in Wells with High Hydrogen Sulfide

  • The heavy oil output in Gudao Oilfield accounts for 34.9% of the total and is the main field for increasing the total production of crude oil in the oilfield. With the escalation of thermal recovery scale, steam injection well group and steam injection rate, the numbers of hydrogen sulfide oil wells increase gradually and the treatment becomes difficult. The studies on the mechanism and control countermeasures of hydrogen sulfide produced in the thermal recovery of heavy oil have been conducted from 2013 in Gudao Oilfield. The process tests of desulfurizer dosing by casing in wells with high hydrogen sulfide have achieved good effects.
