Application of Same Layer Re-perforating Fracturing Technology in Extra-low Permeability Oilfields

  • Pingbei Oilfield, with well-developed sandstone bodies and great pay thickness, is characterized by extra-low permeability reservoirs. As a whole, the integral fracturing has been used to improve the producing degree, but the stimulation effect on the thick reservoir was not ideal as evidenced by the enrichment of remaining oil on logging data. In order to effectively tap the potential of remaining oil, increase the production of well, the same layer re-perforations fracturing technology was applied in the development of the thick reservoirs. Based on the analysis of technical difficulties and major influence factors in the operation, the perforating degree and construction parameters were optimized for remaining oil reservoir exploitation. This technology has been applied in 9 wells/times, and the average single well productivity increased 1.5 times, which showed obvious effects of enhanced production of oil and ensured the high-efficient development of extra-low permeability tight sandstone oilfields.
