Abstract
The working principles of one-dimensional and two-dimensional nuclear magnetism logging equipment and the characteristics of this technology are introduced in this paper. The recognition of the liquid type by one-dimensional nuclear magnetism logging remains uncertain when water and gas coexist in the low permeability reservoir. However, the two-dimensional nuclear magnetism logging can provide nuclear magnetic resonance information, such as the horizontal and vertical relaxation time, diffusion coefficient. Through comparing the parameters recorded at the same point with different investigation depth, the liquid type can be recognized precisely. Analysis has been conducted on the examples of liquid recognition results in the low permeability reservoir in East China Sea basin by the one-dimensional and two-dimensional nuclear magnetism logging, and the analyzing results are accorded with the DST testing results.
