Application of Completion Technology for Level 4 Multilateral Well in Bohai Oidfield

  • The completion technology for level 4 multilateral well used in SZ36-1-G43M well is the first operation for offshore oil-fields. Specially designed whipstock sidetracking system has been used in this well. Sidetracking operations was carried out when the hollow whipstock was run into the main wellbore. Separately production can be achieved when the branches were feed through with oriented perforating. This technology is not only an effective method to solve the problem of insufficient notch, but also a way for inefficient wells reproduces. This technology is significant for improving oil recovery and reducing exploitation costs in the Bohai Oilfield. with broad application prospects.
