Effect Analysis and Application of Water Shut-off and Deep Profile Control Technologies in Chengdao Oilfield

  • Based on the restrictions of the stratigraphic characteristics of Chengdao oilfield and sea conditions, according to the PI decision theory, water plugging and profile adjusting was implemented in four wells using phonemic resin as gel type plugging agents, and polymer solution of high viscosity as displacing fluid. Through analysis of water-plugging and profile-adjusting effects, and summarizing the existing problems and the measures of the next step, a helpful research on stabilizing oil output and controlling water content was proceeded, which has practical significance for water shut-off and profile control in other offshore oilfield.
