Effect Evaluation of Development Adjustment Technology Policy of Guantao Reservoir in Chengdao Oilfield

During the stage of comprehensive adjustment in Chengdao Oilfield, a set of basic development adjustment technology policy was formed and used in some blocks. Through a trace study and analysis of adjusted block, the policy was evaluated which indicated that subdividing series of strata can effectively decrease the interference between layers and improve oil production. Infilling well pattern can increase the injection production rate and water drive control of the reserves. Improving liquid quantity can improve individual well productivity. Through the application of horizontal wells can achieve an effective use of the reservoir and improve oil recovery rate. Comprehensive analysis proved that the existing technology policy can meet the demand of an efficient development in this stage of Chengdao Oilfield as well as provide some experiences for the following adjustment blocks in Chengdao Oilfield and similar oilfields.
