Abstract
Gravel classified pack sand control technique is developed in view of liquid viscosity increase aggravating sand production and shortening sand control validity term and high viscosity production fluid intensifying proppant carrying capacity in polymer walerflooding wells in Shengli Oilfield. The technique is that varigrained gravel is packed to near wellbore area, perforation cylinder, and screen jacket annulus, and chopped fibre is added to middle grained gravel to increase sand retention ability. The technique have revised the method of work that identical size gravel are packed to formation, and sand retention, sand consolidation, sand dump are achieved. The technology is applied to 32 wells in site. The liquid lifts from 27.2 m3/d to 40.43 m3/d, and oil production increases from 1.01 m3/d to 3.89 m3/d. The validity term of sand control has exceeded 400 days. The technology prolongs the sand control expiration date of oil well and has acquired good effect in polymer waterflooding wells.
