The application of fracturing and sand control for high deviated wells in Nanbao 35-2 Oilfield

Reservoirs of Minghuazhen Formation in Nanbao 35-2 Oilfield are unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs and heavy crude oil formation with middle-high porosity and permeability, which need to carry out fracturing and sand control to stimulate production.Based on the principles of fracturing and characteristics of Minghuazhen Formation of well A16 in Nanbao 35-2 Oilfield, suitable clean fracturing fluid, proppant and fracturing tools were selected and fracturing and sand control technology was optimized to fit for the characteristics of high deviated wells.One-trip fracturing and sand control was carried out in Minghuazhen Formation, and oil ells' production increased dramatically without sanding.It's proved that fracturing can stimulate production and control sanding, which is an aggressive method to exploit unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs with heavy crude oil.
