Study on sedimentary facies of Jialingjiang Formation in southwest of Sichuan Basin

According to the study of core and well logging data, it is recognized that the mixed tidal flat, the open plat form, restricted plat form and evaporative plat form were developed in Jialingjiang Formation. Mixed tidal flat and open platform developed in the first Jialingjiang period, open platform developed in the third Jialingjiang period, restricted platform and evaporative plat form developed in the second, the fourth and the fifth Jialingjiang periods.The facies distribution of four key formations were pointed out after thorough study of four geologic facto rs that could embody sedimentary environment and facies, which is the thickness of formation, limestone, dolostone and grainstone.
