A new technology of dewatering gas lift by bubble through capillary

  • In recent years, a new technology of dewatering gas lift using capillary to inject bubbles into wells has been developed, which is mainly applied to production decline or dead gas wells caused by liquid loading in order to eliminate the impact of liquid loading and resume the production. Because of the current production situation of Shunan Gasfield which is of low pressure, low production and poor liquid lifting ability, new technology of dewatering gas lift was introduced. The result of field test in Ba17 gas well demonstrated that the gas production rate increased from 0.3×104m3/d to 1.1×104m3/d, and at the same time the water production rate increased from 25.3 m3/d to 41.5 m3/d. It's proved that the new technology of dewatering gas lift using capillary to inject bubbles into well is highly efficient and practical.
