Technology limit research on exploiting remaining oil using horizontal well on the top of water-out zone in heavy oil reservoirs

Effects of using vertical wells to exploit heavy oil reservoirs with middle thickness and large-scaled bottom water was not good, a new method of exploiting remaining oil using horizontal wells was proposed.Taking Zhong'erbei Ng5 block in Gudao Oilfield as an example conceptual models (non-permeable interlayer model and non-interlayer model) with actual parameters were built development method of horizontal well, its minimum effective thickness vertical position fluid delivery well spacing,and length of horizontal part were optimized and technology limit of this 2 models were studied.
