The Contrast of Selection Criteria of Circulated Gravel Pack with Non-viscous Carrier Fluid, High Rate Water Pack and Frac-packing for Sand Control

After broad investigation, this paper introduces technical principle about circulated gravel pack with non-viscous carrier fluid, high rate water pack and frac-packing for sand-control, each of which can be used in special reservoir. Circulated gravel pack and high rate water pack can be applied in high permeability reservoirs that have been lightly damaged and can't be fractured. To those reservoirs that have high mechanical skin and have bad effect after conventional gravel pack, frac-packing for sand-control is good to be used.
