The Beneficial Natural Gas Area and Evaluation of Meso-Cenozoic Era in Subei Basin

Empoldering and using of natural gas is important to the economic development and environment protecting in Jiangsu province. The finding of Yancheng gas field opened the prelude and oil and gas developed in line in Subei basin. Based on previous study, the article analyses natural gas exploration potential of Meso-Cenozoic Era in Subei basin from two aspects:oil and gas system and mechanism. And then pointed out avail area and coset, putting forward exploration direction for natural gas exploration in Subei basin.
