Inner geometry configuration three dimensional geological modeling of meandering river point bar sand body

  • Due to the existence of mud interlayer inside sand body, hydrocarbon was left inside river channel reservoir as the oilfield is at high water cut development stage. Three dimensional characteristics of lateral interlayer inside sand body of No. 3 district, Daqing Oilfield was displayed by using geological data, well logging, dynamic production data and cross-section and hydro-dynamics analysis with Rocon and Petrol software. A three dimensional geological model of mud interlayer inside the meandering river point bar was set up and semi-quantitative characters of the Inner geometry configuration of the meandering river point bar was described, which deepens the understanding of reservoir heterogeneity of Lasaxing Oilfield and has great significance on future development of this kind of reservoir.
