The experimental research of functional polymer flooding on offshore oilfield

Reservoirs in Bohai Bay Oilfield are non-homogenous, mobility contrast of oil and water is great and water injection profile is not balanced, so it is more appropriate to take deep profile control for EOR. Through core simulation experiment, relationship between viscosity and concentration of the new type of polymer GN-1 and mobile properties were determined, the capacity of fluid transfer and the effects of flooding were evaluated. High concentration polymer assembly could be used effective in low-permeability layers, and enhanced oil recovery greatly.
