Experiences and Analysis of MFE Testing for“KT-2”Drilling Platform in Bohai Area

The "KT-2" rig, which is owned by Shanghai Offshore Petroleum Bureau, has finished 8 wells in the Bohai area since 1996.This parper gives brief introductions and detailed analysis on major problems emerged during the testing process, involves:① discharge fluid of drilling rig;② MFE tools;③ range of pressure recorder;④ encountering resistance in downhole;⑤ inverse circulating valve;⑥ petroleum blow-out;⑦ pipe string design;⑧ prevention of f reezing when testing during winter;⑨ operation on MFE valve;⑩ tools falling into downhole etc.
