Application of Yield Splitting Method Based on PLT Test Regression in East China Sea Gas Field

  • In oil and gas field mines, many production wells are multi-layer co-mining. In order to accurately determine the output of each small layer, 3 splitting methods are commonly used: static method, dynamic method and experimental method. Each method has limitations due to single considerations or cumbersome processes. Considering that static parameters are the easiest data to obtain and the test of which cost less, this paper uses the PLT test data of East China Sea gas field to establish a multivariate linear model to evaluate the sensitivity of four main static factors affecting the production splitting of gas wells, and considers that the formation coefficient ratio and reservoir capacity coefficient ratio have a significant impact, then returns the empirical formula of yield splitting based on the formation coefficient ratio and reservoir coefficient ratio. The new method is applied to the new gas field in East China Sea, and the error between the calculated output profile and the PLT test result does not exceed 5%. The accuracy of the traditional static splitting method is greatly improved, and it has certain promotion and application value.
