Identification Method and Production Law of Condensate Water of Gas Reservoir in East China Sea

  • Condensate water is a kind of special gas field groundwater with very low salinity, which is produced with the development of gas reservoirs. Condensate water is usually associated with offshore gas reservoirs in the early stage of production. Condensate water generally precipitate in reservoir or wellbore along with the change of temperature and pressure. It will affect productivity and development of gas reservoir when condensate water reaches a certain amount. Therefore, for better identifying characteristics of gas reservoirs and making development measures, it is of great significance to clarify the production characteristics of condensate water. Based on the analysis of the laboratory experiment of condensate water content determination, combined with the condensate water production characteristics and geochemical indicators in the actual production process of development wells, this paper puts up the discrimination method and production law of gas reservoirs in East China Sea, which can be applied to the condensate water production prediction of gas wells in gas fields, and has reference and guiding significance for the condensate water production prediction of similar gas reservoirs.
