Application and discussion of Drilling Rig Safety Interlocking Control System

  • With the continuous development of drilling technology, the degree of automation, integration and intelligence of drilling equipment is also constantly improving, especially on offshore drilling platforms. All kinds of equipment have fixed placement positions and running tracks. There are certain operating logic and steps among various equipment during actual operation. Therefore, through the sensor, it can be simulated and unified into a special control system-drilling safety interlock control system, so that the equipment will not collide and be operated incorrectly in actual use, thus ensuring the safety of drilling operations. Taking the Aker (MH Wirth) drilling package equipped on the 'Kantan-7' drilling platform as an example, this paper expounds the relevant equipment control principle of the safety interlocking control system of the drilling rig. Combined with the operation scene in the production process, the field application of the safety interlocking control system of the drilling rig and the situation where the equipment interlocking needs to be lifted are summarized, and the specific evaluation and improvement direction of the system are put forward, aiming at providing reference for field personnel with similar operating systems.
