Genesis and Logging Interpretation Methods of Low-Resistance Reservoirs in Bozhong Sag

  • In conventional logging evaluation, logging identification of low-resistivity reservoirs is a difficult problem and it has an impact on the coincidence rate of logging interpretation to a great extent. In order to improve the interpretation coincidence rate of low-resistivity reservoirs, based on logging data, combined with logging, core experimental analysis, test analysis and other data, genesis and logging identification methods of low-resistivity reservoirs in Bozhong Sag are analyzed from the perspective of sedimentation and diagenesis. The research results show that low-resistivity reservoirs in Bozhong Sag are mainly thin and muddy ones. In addition, thin low-resistivity reservoirs can be identified according to corrected values of the logging curve processed by the vertical response discrete method, and the double saturation method can be used to identify low resistivity reservoirs caused by argillaceous. By obtaining the genesis of low-resistivity reservoirs and the identification effect of the two methods on low-resistivity reservoirs in Bozhong Sag, it provides significant technical support for fully tapping the potential of low-resistivity reservoirs and developing oilfields efficiently and sustainably.
