A Method for Determining the Cementation Degree of Glutenite Based on Cementation Factor Spectrum

  • Tight glutenite reservoirs in Junggar Basin have the characteristics of complex lithology, low porosity, low permeability, strong heterogeneity and complex pore structure. How to evaluate such reservoirs comprehensively has become an urgent task. Especially, it is important to judge the cementation degree of reservoir porosity and permeability. In this paper, the cementation index of rock in Archie formula is used, and the cementation factor spectrum is derived by combining micro resistivity scanning imaging logging to evaluate the cementation degree of qualitative reservoir. On this basis, the expected value and variance are extracted from the spectrum chart for quantitative reservoir evaluation, and three types of reservoirs are classified into weak, medium, and strong cementation, which greatly improve the effective reservoir identification rate to 88.1%. It is great practical significance to evaluate the reservoir objectively and find favorable areas.
