Quantitative Evaluation of Air Gun Leakage in Offshore Seismic Exploration

  • Air gun seismic source is widely used in marine seismic data acquisition, and air leakage is a common phenomenon. When there is an abnormal situation such as air gun leakage, and the quality control cannot be carried out according to the gun closing standard, the influence of the air leakage of a single air gun or multiple air guns on the entire gun array is considered from the aspects of near-field wavelet correlation and energy consistency. Finally, this paper has put forward the quantitative analysis and evaluation method for the whole gun array, which can provide quantitative evaluation reference for the excitation quality of air gun array.
