Application of Multivariate Statistical Analysis in Estimating the Weight of Main Structure of Jacket Platform Topside

  • In the early stage of the project, there is a lack of detailed design basic data. On the premise of limited basic data, through effective correlation and comparison with the actual data of the construction, it provides a relatively simple method for estimating the weight of the main structure of jacket platform topside. By collecting and sorting out the historical design data of the jacket platform, using multivariate statistical analysis methods such as correlation analysis, principal component analysis and regression analysis, the establishment of the steel weight prediction model of the main structure of the jacket platform topside is completed, so that the weight of main structure of jacket platform topside can be reasonably estimated with less data.
