Improvement of Column Sampling Equipment and Sampling Technique for Seabed Vibration

  • The vibrating piston sampling equipment is one of the most commonly used sampling equipment for obtaining long column sandy samples in marine geological survey in China. In this paper, the problems such as damage of sampling frame, serious disturbance of sample and short sample,etc.,through designing the sealing device independently, improving the material and structure of the sampling frame and the submarine vibration column sampling technique are solved fundamentally. As a result, the seabed vibration column-shaped equipment is more precise, and the seabed vibration column-shaped sampling technique is more perfect. The sample length, sample quality and working efficiency are remarkably improved and the equipment failure is effectively avoided. The solution provides a reference.
