Development and Application of High Temperature Electrical Imaging Tool

  • With the gradual increase of high temperature deep well drilling at home and abroad, aiming at the lack of high temperature electrical imaging tool in market, and on the basis of the traditional electrical imaging tool technology, an electrical imaging tool for 200℃ high temperature well has been developed by the thick film integrated circuit technology and thermos insulation technology. In the laboratory, the circuit module of the instrument has been tested at high temperature. The circuit measurement signal in high temperature environment of 200℃ high temperature has little change compared with the room temperature, and it can meet the needs of electrical imaging measurement.On-site operation was performed on a high temperature well, and the qualified data of about 1 500 m well section was measured, and the image clearly showed the geological characteristics of the well wall such as the sedimentary structure, and stratum lithology identification, sedimentary structure analysis, sedimentary microfacies division and paleocurrent direction analysis and other geological evaluations on the information were carried out, which has achieved good application results and provides the basis for the follow-up geological analysis. The technical gaps of no electrical imaging logging tool for the ultrahigh temperature well above 175℃ are filled, which has great significance for oil and gas exploration and development of ultra-high temperature wells at home and abroad.
