Reservoir Characterization of Submarine Fan Using Seismic Slice Technology

  • With the improvement of exploration and development technologies, deep marine fan, which is rich in oil & gas resources, is becoming a hot topic of petroleum exploration and development. This paper takes Formation C of A Oilfield as an example, integrating seismic and logging data with production data to do interaction analysis. Applying seismic slice technology to sedimentary facies research, this paper solves conflicts in production and evaluates the effects of reservoir heterogeneity. The result contributes to improving efficiency of reservoir development, and provides reliable reference for optimization of the development program.
