Application of the Technology of Decomposed Frequency RGB Blending Seismic Attribute in Interpretation of Spatial Distribution of Channel Sand Body of J Area

  • Compared to the single attribute, decomposed frequency RGB blending seismic attribute could identify the geological anomaly more effectively. Take the channel sand body of middle Miocene located in the J area of the Niger delta as an example, a series of interpretation methods including the technique of decomposed frequency RGB blending seismic attribute and 3D visualization technology have been applied in the target. Finally, clear and accurate spatial structure and boundary distribution of the channel sand body could be extracted, which will provide a reliable basis for geological modeling and reservoir simulation. At the same time, it shows that the technique of decomposed frequency RGB blending seismic attribute could be used in identifying other clastic rock anomalies, and also lead to better results.
