A Design Method for Offshore Oil and Gas Well Completion Pipe String Based on Systematic Thoughts

  • In order to reduce the influence on the quality of technical solutions due to the difference in the technical level of design engineers, through summary and refinement on offshore engineering program for oil and gas well completion, a set of systemic design method has been set up. The design method is as follows:on the basis of reservoir conditions, analyze the functional requirements, optimize completion process, make clear about professional interface requirements, discuss about scheme for several rounds and optimize the scheme. This method is helpful to the design engineer to promote the thinking mode of "bottom-up" layer by layer, not missing, and also helpful to efficient completion of program design.
