Study on Numerical Simulation of Production Allocation in Multi-layer Gas Reservoirs

  • Commingle producing way is used in most of gas reservoirs.In order to understand the production situation of each layer,it is necessary to make production allocation.However,at present,study on production allocation is not enough.In this paper,analyses have been conducted on the shortcomings of the common used methods for production allocation.On the basis of the above study,theoretical numerical simulation model is built.In addition,sensitivity analysis has also been done through analyzing the production speed,formation pressure difference,size of edge water body,formation conductivity KH ratio and reservoir volume ratio.Combined with the production logging testing results,production allocation regularity for gas reservoirs has been obtained,and the production allocation method by combining numerical simulation results with production logging testing results has been proposed,which can be used for improving the efficiency of measuring the liquid producing profile in gas field.Through analyzing the results of production logging testing in X1 gas well in Pinghu gas field,the reliability of this method has been verified.It has been confirmed that this method is very significant for guiding actual production allocation in gas field.
