Efficient Development Strategy for Marginal Oil and Gas fields in East China Sea

Marginal oil and gas fields in East China Sea include mainly low permeability gas fields,complex fault block gas fields,micro structure gas fields and high pour-point crude oil and gas fields.Based on analysis of the development characteristics and difficulties of the marginal oil and gas fields,the development strategies for marginal oil and gas fields in East China Sea has been put forward according to the principles of regional integration,overall consideration,integration exploration and development.The low permeability development pilot area has been established,regional center facilities,regional pipe network and grid center have be built.The platforms have been simplified to achieve standardization design.Progressive exploration and development has been developed with already built platform and newly increased platform.It is demonstrated that FPSO can be the second way by crude oil transportation systems.These development strategies are very significant for breaking through development barriers and developing the marginal oil and gas fields in East China Sea with low cost and high efficiency.The efficient development experiences and strategies are also significant for other similar offshore marginal oil and gas fields.
