The Study and Application of AVO Modeling and Prediction of Middle and Deep Gas Reservoirs in Oilfields of East China Sea

  • AVO is a technology for the study on change regularity of CRP gathers with geophone offset, by which the seismic at-tributes related with lithology and HC existance can be acquired from prestack seismic data, and gas bearing conditions can be pre-dicted. Thus, AVO is a seismic technology which is suitable for HC exploration and development. There are lots of gas reservoirs in the oil field of East China Sea, and also lots of water-layers. With AVO analyzing technology, the difference between gas and water bearing layers can be found, and gas and water bearing layers can be identified.
